When was the Great Pyramid built?

The following was made in response to Part 30 of our study on the time features of the Great Pyramid.

Hi
I try to redo John Herschel’s calculation of Alpha Draconis as polar star concerning the corridors on the northern side of the Great Pyramid. You will always get two solutions of the problem. One when the star is approaching the polar point and one when the star is moving away from the point. The angular velocity along the precession circle is approximately 360 degrees/26.000 years. Alpha Draconis has its minimum distance to the polar point about 2700 BC. Using the upper corridor with a slope about 31 degrees the great pyramid was built between 2500 BC and 2900 BC. This is not consistent with the calculation of John Herschel. Using the lower corridor with a slope of about 26.5 degrees the two solutions will be about 2400 BC and 3000 BC. Can you explain me why?

Thanks for your Comment Claus.

When you mention theupper corridorI assume you are referring to theAscending Passage”. TheAscending Passageis not on a 31-degree angle, but is found on the same degree angle as that of theDescending Passage”, roughly, 26 1/3 degrees. However, the upper corridor and its direction are not used in this calculation except in computing measurements. In this instance we are relying on the angle of the score line and that of the descending passage alone.

As you can see form the image below at around 10:00 pm on October 12th 2140 B.C. the angle of the descending passage looking north pointed toward the star Thuban (Alpha Draconis) while the score line in the descending passage pointed south toward the star Alcyone (Eta Tauri) located in the Pleiades.

I myself do not claim to be an expert in astronomy, but must rely on those who are and as such from what they have revealed they have shown us that we are correct in our estimation as to the date of the erection of the Great Pyramid, viz. 2170 B.C. as the time of construction and 2140 B.C. as the time of its completion. We likewise have two collaborating witnesses to this fact.

The first is found in the pyramid itself as indicated by the position of the score line in the descending passage, the distance being calculated from the north wall of the Grand Gallery indicating the date 33 A.D., backward down the floor-line of the First Ascending Passage to the “Point of Intersection,” and from there up the floor-line of the Descending Passage to the scored line itself, the total number of Pyramid inches equaling the period of years from Spring 33 A.D., back to Autumn 2140 B.C. (This period is 2171.5 years, and the measurement referred to is 2171.5330 + Pyramid inches, as seen in the diagram.)

The second evidence of our pyramid date is connected with the Pyramids geographical mile-distance between it and the city of Bethlehem in the Holy Land, which you can see in Part 31 of this study.

“…A threefold cord is not quickly brokenEccl 4:12, that is to say more than three witnesses prove a point.

Or as stated by our Lord “…by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.” Matt 18:16

A “threefold cord” is a symbol of union, unison, harmony or agreement.

We have this “threefold cord” or witness and are satisfied with our assumption that the Great Pyramid was completed in the year 2140 B.C.

Of course this is only our assumption based on the facts that we have received, others may disagree, however barring our confidence in the Great Pyramid and its author (God) we are confident that we have arrived at the correct conclusion.
